Sitti, Jan Nieto and the Famous Las Piñas Boys Choir

THE BOSSA EXPERIENCE
Ma. Patricia Anne M. Arafol

Awesome Performance. "I'll be Home for Christmas".

Who wouldn't love the melodious music of Bossa? The sweet sounds of the piano, saxophone, and other musical instruments that can surely relax our mind. It's like jazz. The sweet and soothing voice of the singer makes the listeners jive and at the same time fall in love.
Have you ever heard of the talented Sitti Navarro? Well, she's one of Manila's most promising young artists of the century with her wonderful voice and her ways on how she delivers her performances. She has made her name popular by performing in various music lounges in the metro. Back in high school, she was a school paper's editor-in-chief. She graduated valedictorian in St. Francis of Assisi-Las Piñas where she received excellent awards. In 2004, she joined MTV's "SUPAHSTAR D'SUPER SEARCH" where prominent and recognized judges voted her as one of the winners. She also has a dream career of being a famous TV host or news anchor.

13th of December 2007, Sitti and the world-famous Las Piñas Boy's Choir had a Christmas concert entitled "I'll be home for Christmas". It was held at the Las Piñas Bamboo Organ Church courtyard or as we, Josephians, call it as the SJA Girl's Quadrangle at 8:00 in the evening.

The program started with a folk song which was led by the Las Piñas Boy's Choir and in the latter part, Sitti joined in the singing. The event also featured Philippine Idol finalist Jan Nieto and the Las Piñas Men's Choir. The concert was indeed a great success and as if it was filled with enchantment as the voices of these artists sang together under the moonlit sky. There was a ballet performance while Sitte and Jan Nieto sang a touching love song. It was a memorable event for the Las Piñeros who had witnessed the performance of these world class singers.
IT was a night full of melodious music as Sitti entretained the audience by telling wonderful stories and expereinces with her heart - melting smile. Her kindheartedness and gentleness made her fans love her more. Naturally, as Christmas is in the air, Christmas songs found in their way to the audience heart.
