From an original 300 candidates, 16 couples who are parents of HS students and / or GS pupils tied knots and exchanged "I Do" last October 25, 2008 in a Mass Wedding solemnized by Msgr Albert Venus, the School Director and Parist Priest, Fr. Francis Montero, CIE Head and Fr. Jose Soler.Since July 2008, these parents were targets of CIE's Kasalan sa Eskwela. As a requirement for school admission, they were advised that within a year they should be married in the Catholic Church in SJA fir their children to be considered enrolled.
This Kasalan sa Eskwela aims to bring the family closer to God and make the couples open to sacramental matrimony.
The organizers of this event are Mr. McRey A. Sario - CIE Coordinator, Mr. Naz Montes - Campus Minister, Ms. Maricel Raymundo - CIE Staff and Fr. Francis Montero - CIE Head.
For School Year 2009-2010, the Kasalan sa Eskwela is scheduled on October 24, 2009, Saturday at 9:00 A.M.. Pre-Cana Seminar is on October 17, 2009. To those interested please prepare your Original Documents such as Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate (Binyag), Confirmation Certificate (Kumpil) and Marriage License with OR Number and submit to Mr. McRey A.
